Setting Up Auto-Replies

The auto-replies feature can be found on your REVIEWS tab. Here in the upper right you can turn them on and off with the slider button.

After turning on the auto reply, a window will pop up asking you for your information. You can use your own information or maybe you have a manager or marketing person you’d like to enter. The information you put here will be used to make your responses appear more personal.

Once you have filled out all of the fields click “NEXT STEP.” All of the default responses Opiniion has pre-built for you will be displayed on two tabs – positive and negative. From here you can leave the automated responses as-is, disable them by deselecting the box to the left of the reply, or edit them to use your own preference and voice, or create your own.

Once you are satisfied with all of your changes, click the "SAVE & FINISH" button.

Setting Up Auto Replies

To set up auto replies, start by clicking on the blue "Auto-Reply" button. You will be presented with a list of platforms where auto-responses are possible, and a toggle to the right of each one. In order to activate auto-responses, they need to be set up beforehand. If you need help linking to a specific platform, follow the links below:

Once the auto-responses are set up, make sure the "OFF/ON" switch is turned to "ON" for each platform you want to use auto-responders on. Then, click on "Settings" and fill in the fields for the locations you are setting up.

Once you finish this step, a list of 10 positive and 10 negative auto-responses that we have pre-loaded will pull up. You have the option to use all pre-loaded auto-responses or pick and choose the ones you want to use. Additionally, you can add your own custom replies by clicking "Custom Replies" and then "Create New". When adjusting the standard replies or creating custom ones, you have the ability to add merge fields. Hover over "Merge Tag Tips" to pull up a list of merge fields that work with the auto-responses. Once you are done adjusting the auto-responses, click "Save & Finish" and you're ready to go.
